You're going to get through this in about 10 minutes.

Nothing to install, nothing you can break — everything auto-saves, and every mistake is fixable.

1 Choose your background and school info 2 Drop in your GotPhoto zip (or PhotoDay, Proofpix, etc.) 3 Review the names it pulled 4 Download your PDFs and JPGs

Background

Pages export print-ready at 300 DPI.

Pick a color, type your school name, done.

Live preview (actual output is 3000 × 2400 px — 300 DPI at 8 × 10")

Header Photos

Up to 4 photos in the header of every page. Slots that have nothing for a class simply skip it, so mixed staffing works in one run.

Whole-School Composite

One extra page with every student in the school — great for entry halls and yearbook back pages.

📋 How to export from GotPhoto (cheat sheet)

Upload Student Photos

Drop in your GotPhoto zip (folders become classes, filenames become names) or a PhotoDay export (its roster CSV sorts everyone automatically).

What should the zip look like inside?
📁 VOL191748.zip 📁 JK_Mrs_Hanelle/ ← one folder per class 🖼 Chloe_Grubb.jpg ← named First_Last 🖼 Ayla_Sepulveda.jpg 🖼 Stella_Garcia.jpg 📁 Kinder_Mrs_Kendyll/ 🖼 Eli_Brown.jpg 🖼 Madelyn_Meinburg.jpg 📁 First_Mrs_Tilley/ 🖼 ...

Proofpix and most other systems export the same way — folders become classes, filenames become names. Nested exports work too (grade folder → teacher folder → photos), and a wrapper folder around everything is fine. PSPA / yearbook discs: if the zip has an INDEX.TXT or MASTER.TXT, ClassPhoto reads names, grades, and teachers straight from it — the photo filenames don't matter. PhotoDay: photos arrive loose with an Index.csv, and ClassPhoto reads the CSV to sort everyone into classes (export as "Service Item" with the .csv data file, grouped by Grade). Organized differently? Rearrange the folders before zipping.

💡 Hyphens, nicknames, and middle names get flagged for a quick review in Step 3 — nothing breaks.

Teacher Photos (optional)

Shot the teachers separately? Drop them here — files, or a zip. Name each file after the teacher (Mrs_Hanelle.jpg) and they match to the right classes automatically.
