Turn this year's photo export into the principal's book.

Drop in the roster and the portraits you already have. Every child gets a cell, every name fits, and nobody is dropped — the ones without a photo go on the Not Pictured page. You get a print-ready PDF, a cover, and a manifest that matches. Everything happens in this browser.

About twenty minutes for a whole school.

1

School setup

Name, year, logo and how the book is bound — saved for next year.

2

Import

A zip, a folder or loose files. Roster and photos in one drop.

3

Organize

Sections, classes, teacher spellings, and every exception in one place.

4

Design & export

See every page, then a print PDF, a cover and the CSVs.

School

The copy label prints small on the cover, so four numbered books can go to four offices.

Logo

Drop the school logo here PNG, JPG or SVG · a transparent PNG sits best on a colored cover

Photographer credit

Prints once, small, on the back cover. Nothing else in the book carries your name.

The book itself

School profiles

Save this school so next year is a re-import: the logo, the credit, the theme, the page size and the binding all come back.

A zip, a folder, or loose files — roster and portraits together is fine.

What Principal's Book understands

Roster

A GotPhoto student-data CSV or names list, a PhotoDay subject file, a school's own spreadsheet, or a PSPA Index.txt with its README.TXT. Columns are detected by their contents, not their position. Student IDs stay text, so 001425 stays 001425.

Photos

A folder, a zip, or a pile of files. Photos are matched by the roster's own filename, then the student ID, then first and last name. Nothing is guessed — anything uncertain goes to the reconciliation panel on the next step.

What is never read

Addresses, phone numbers, birthdays, parent names, medical and allergy fields are skipped on the way in. They are not stored and they can never reach a page.

Sections

Order and dividers

Drag a section, or use the arrows. The divider is the page that announces it.

Reconciliation

Pre-flight

Checking every page…

The book

Vector text, 300 DPI photographs, and the same geometry you just approved on screen.

Paperwork

The lists the office marks up, and the corrected data the lab wants back.

Project

Everything stays on this computer. A project file moves the job to another machine, or keeps it for next year.
